The Ledge on Route 22 was a major obstacle for Abe when he attempted to get to the Pokémon League as it was very easy to jump over the narrow gap between the final piece of grass and the entrance, resulting in a lengthy journey back to the start of the route. This was frequently used by trolls to disrupt the progress of the stream, and at one point took up an entire day getting past.
